Guided Tour of Knockelly Castle, Fethard

Knockelly Castle, built in 1465 and currently undergoing careful restoration, will open its gates to the public for the first time for a guided walking tour. The tour, led by Jeremy Emmet-Booth will give an historical overview of the unique medieval site and the on-going conservation works, followed by a biodiversity walk through the ancient meadows, led by ecologist Mieke Muyllaert.
