During Heritage Week, Hook Rural Tourism will conduct five (5) free group tours of Duncannon’s unique 16th Century bastion fort - one each day from Monday to Friday. This historic structure has gathered countless intriguing and awe-inspiring stories over its 450-year history and holds one of the best vantage points from which to take in the beautiful Waterford Estuary. Each tour takes up to 1½ hours, and advance booking is advisable.
