Free Tour of Duncannon Fort

As part of Heritage Week 2026 and this year’s theme “Heritage at Risk”, Duncannon Fort will open for a free guided tour on Wednesday, 19 August at 1pm.

Explore the history and significance of this coastal fort and learn about the importance of protecting vulnerable heritage sites. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.

Duncannon Fort is a historical site which features uneven surfaces, steps, inclines, and historic structures. Visitors are advised to wear appropriate footwear and mind their steps at all times.
