Free Admission to Cahir Castle on 15th August 2026 to celebrate Heritage Week. We are open from 9 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. and look forwarding to seeing you - for a guided tour, or indeed a self-guided wander around this, one of the best preserved medieval castles in Ireland. We are situated on a rocky limestone island on the River Suir and offer a truly magical glimpse into one of the strongholds of the Butler Family.
