A talk by archaeologist Katie Kearns at St. Hugh’s holy well and sweathouse, about the past and present of Irish folk medicine, as well as modern traditions of folk medicine from further afield.
Meet at the carpark for the Leitrim Way - Ballinagleragh Trailhead, the holy well and sweathouse are located within five minutes of the carpark.
The talk will take place outdoors, so bring suitable rain gear and appropriate footwear.
