Fermoy Poetry Workshop and Readings

The Fermoy Poetry Group is a local literary collective that has gathered weekly since 2011 to share original pieces, recite classical favourites, and discuss poetry. The group is highly welcoming, regularly hosting community readings and local music. Typically the group gathers on Tuesdays at The Coffee House, Fermoy, but will be gathering in Christ Church for Heritage Week to share poetry with all who care to join.

Guest poet, Eddie Dalton, will join the Fermoy Poetry Group at this event. Eddie Dalton is a well-known local historian, genealogist, and community leader from Golden, County Tipperary. He is highly respected for his historical research, notably his decades-long efforts advocating for the posthumous pardon of Harry Gleeson, a local man wrongfully hanged in 1941.

Non members are welcome to attend this poetry event at Christ Church Fermoy.
