Free Family Living History Event with Helena Stackpoole

Join heritage educator Helena Stackpoole at Kerry County Museum for a very special interactive living history event. Helena specialises in Gaelic medieval history and long-forgotten crafts. Using the mediums of storytelling, handling collections and crafts, Helena vividly brings the fascinating world of medieval Kerry to life. She will appear in Gaelic Irish clothing based on a set of clothes discovered in a bog, dating from the 16th century.

Set within Kerry County Museum’s immersive Medieval Experience, this fun drop-in family event is suitable for all ages and abilities. Free entry - no booking required, all are welcome. Please note that entry to the museum is via the Tralee Tourist Information Office from 15-22 August.
