Biodiversity and family fun at the Killeshin Reservoir

Set in the beautiful surroundings of The Killeshin Waterworks Amenity, we will be officially unveiling the new Sluice Gate project which we recently completed. The fully functional sluice gate now helps protect the reservoir from stagnation and was supported by the Heritage Council.
In addition, we will be unveiling the first of our art installations which was supported by Laois County Council and the Heritage through Art scheme. The Red Squirrel is making a come back is all we can say.
This will be followed by a walk and talk by Biodiversity expert Lisa Doyle, and a fun orienteering game for children.
Free tea/coffee and ice-cream will also be served.
