Lawrence and Long Architects have considerable experience dealing with Protected Structures, as RIAI accredited Conservation Grade II Architects and members of the Irish Georgian Society. Work includes architecture, interior design, apartment design, urban master planning and conservation projects.

Joe qualified from the School of Architecture of University College Dublin in 1994. Joe is a registered Architect and is a Fellow of the RIAI ( Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland ). He is a member of the AAI ( Architectural Association of Ireland ) and is an international chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Joe is a RIAI accredited Grade II Conservation Architect, a member of the Irish Georgian Society and has served as a jury member assessing both the RIAI and AAI Annual Architecture Awards.
Prior to establishing Lawrence and Long Architects with Pierre Long in 2005, Joe worked with architectural offices in the United States, Australia and with de Blacam and Meagher Architects in Dublin on variety of residential, conservation and office projects, many of which have won RIAI, AAI and Europa Nostra Awards.
