Exploring Ballinasloe Library's Foundations

Children aged 10+ are invited to join us in Ballinasloe Library for an archaeological excavation! Participants will carry out their own archaeological investigation and explore the foundations and history of Ballinasloe Library though a hands-on and fun experience. Afterwards, their artefacts will be on display in the Church Gallery for the duration of Heritage Week for everyone to see. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about the history of their locality and the profession of archaeology.
