Excavations at Barrack Street, Gort by Fiona Rooney

Fiona Rooney, Consultant Archaeologist with Through Time Ltd will highlight recent investigations at Barrack Street which were carried out in advance of a proposed car park facility in the town of Gort. Located adjacent to a former barracks, excavations revealed some interesting features and finds. Excavations were funded by Galway County Council. All are welcome.
