Discover Dromahair Heritage Walk and Art Workshop

Dromahair Heritage Group is a collective of residents from the community around Dromahair, County Leitrim and it has been in existence for about fourteen years The group promotes and celebrates the rich local and cultural history of the area from pre-history to the present day.
There is a large volume of information to cover when discussing our heritage, so we have broken the topic down into three main, logical sub-divisions; Natural heritage, Built heritage and Cultural heritage.

Our website give a glimpse of some of the cultural richness of the Dromahair area, sourced from original research and previously published studies as well as the more recent work of our members, in the Dromahair Heritage Group.

Our heritage event for National Heritage Week will incorporate a combination of art and a heritage walk which will begin at the the branch Library at 11 a.m and finish at 1 p.m. All are welcome!
