Demonstration/Training in 3D Photogrammetry

We will meet at Burgessbeg Graveyard where Heritage Photographer Ken Williams of https://www.shadowsandstone.com/ will show us how to digitally record gravestone markers with 3d Photogrammetry.

Following the capture of one gravestone onsite, we will head to the nearby Boher Community Centre where Ken will upload the pictures taken and show us how to process those pictures into a 3d scale digital model. Models like these digitally preserve the carvings on the gravestone and often can reveal faint details that can not be seen with the naked eye.

We will upload the 3d model of the gravestone online and it will then be possible to view from all over the world.

We will meet at Burgessbeg Graveyard at 10.30 and we hope to be in Boher Community Centre around 12. We hope to car-pool to the venue, drop the organiser an email and we will see if this can be arranged.
