Delightful Evening of Traditional Music with The Cross Keys

Grúpa de cheoltóirí traidisiúnta is ea ‘The Cross Keys’ ó cheantar, Bhaile Mhistéala, Bhaile an Daingin, Chill Dairbhre, Mhainistir Fhear Maí agus Ráth Chormaic.

A long-established group, they meet in their houses once a week for a session of music with the occasional song and dance. They also play in public from time to time but this is not their chief activity as their raison d’être is to play music for pleasure and to swap tunes and stories when they meet each week in member’s homes for a kind of musical bothántaíocht. Their appearance in Christ Church, Fermoy affords a rare opportunity to hear the music of this unique non-commercial group.
