Curious Cabinets at Newbridge House!

Join us at Newbridge House and Farm in a hands-on workshop to create your very own Curious Cabinet!

This hands-on workshop engages with the historic Newbridge House and its world-famous Cabinet of Curiosities. Children will have the opportunity to learn about the creation of these private museums and the importance of the one of the last Cabinets of Curiosities surviving at Newbridge House.

Focusing on ecology, human interaction with the natural world and the history of collecting, children will be tasked with crafting their own mini curious cabinet to take home!

Suitable for children aged 8-12. Appropriate clothing is required as the workshop will include walking outdoors and working with craft materials.

Booking is required. Maximum 15 children per workshop.
