Creating a Plan for Oranmore Medieval Church & Graveyard

Research and Dig are assisting Oranmore Tidy Towns in the creation of Conservation Management Plan for Oranmore Medieval Church and Graveyard. The plan will guide how the site is cared for and managed in the years ahead.

After an initial round of stakeholder engagement and study we now want to hear the community's views about the emerging proposals.

Who should attend?
Anyone with a connection to the graveyard is welcome, including:
- Local residents
- People with relations buried in the graveyard
- Community and voluntary groups

Please note: The site is located immediately behind the Centra/Texaco Station on Main Street. The ground is uneven, so care must be taken and appropriate footwear worn.

The project is supported by Galway County Council and the Heritage Council. It is led by Oranmore Tidy Towns in partnership with Oranmore Heritage.
