Craicly Stories & The 52M Robertstown Barge!

CRAICLY STORIES and the Robertstown Community Amenities Association are celebrating Heritage Week with a sail and stories! CRAICLY, an Irish storytelling project, is based in Allenwood Kildare and hosts community storytelling events in historic houses, farms and community spaces all over Ireland. At home in Kildare for Heritage Week, we are inviting a group to join us on the wonderful community barge, which has been lovingly restored thanks to a determined and dedicated community group who restored the 52m Eustace back to her former glory. Our two hour relaxing and gentle journey will bring us all together as a group to enjoy the Kildare countryside, and hear pre-curated stories from locals about their lived experiences on the countryside and farmland we are passing through together. Simple supper included.
