The theme of this year’s Heritage event is 'Exploring our Foundations' and the Centre for Environmental Living and Training (CELT) are delighted to be hosting an exciting week long programme of public permaculture and sustainable heritage events celebrating and embracing all aspects of our sustainable - natural, cultural and built - heritage - sharing skills and knowledge from across the ages in meeting our needs in harmony with Nature. Communities, families and people of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to join in our programme of events and explore our heritage of living sustainably in harmony with the land.

During the week we will host a 4 day Social Permaculture Training from August 19 - 22nd - facilitated by international guests Starhawk and Davie Philip from Cultivate Cooperative (Cloughjordan), this special gathering will explore our heritage of regenerative cultures and practices for restoring our landscapes while meeting our daily needs by sharing an understanding of ecology and the principles that infuse and inspire sustainable living and heritage practices to meet core human needs of food, fuel, fibre, shelter while also addresses climate and biodiversity challenges and farming in harmony with nature.

We are also offering a 2 Day Nature based Children's Camp on August 19 & 20th and we are hosting the All Ireland Permaculture Gathering over the weekend of August 23/24th - where practitioners from all over Ireland and beyond are welcome to join us.
