Carnew Food Foraging Trail: Celebrating the Power of Community
Join us at Carnew Library on Friday, 22nd August at 7:00pm for an inspiring evening highlighting how co-operation builds thriving communities.
This special event is a collaboration between Carnew Tidy Towns' "Pride in Carnew" initiative and Wicklow County Council’s Environmental Awareness Department.
David Wilcoxson , a dedicated Carnew Tidy Towns volunteer, and Sarah Rubalcava, Environmental Awareness Officer with Wicklow County Council, will share the story of Carnew Tidy Town’s journey—from its environmental achievements to the creation of a new Food Foraging Trail. Sarah will also offer valuable advice on sustainable practices for individuals and community groups.
Come and sample fresh produce, explore local foraging, and enjoy the beautiful, creative work of the Carnew Community Care Knitting Group, which will be proudly on display.
All are welcome—come be inspired by what a community can do together!
