Butterfly Identification Workshop Clare

Clare County Council's Biodiversity Officer with the support of the Heritage Council have organised a butterfly identification workshop with renowned butterfly expert Jesmond Harding to celebrate National Heritage Week 2025. The Burren is a floral paradise, and not surprisingly, it is the best destination in Ireland for butterflies. We will explore the Burren's butterflies and the floral resources they need, through PowerPoint images captured in the Burren and directly through a field walk. Further details on the event will be sent following registration. The workshop takes place in Carran, County Clare on Saturday, 23rd of August 2025 from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
