Would you like to learn more about local wildlife and biodiversity and help shape future action in your community?
Join us for an evening of nature discussions as we begin the exciting journey of forming Athlone’s first Biodiversity Group!
Facilitated by Owen Murphy (Breeding Waders EIP) and Christina Sweeney (Biodiversity Office, Westmeath County Council).
The evening will include a short presentation on local wildlife, followed by lots of time for chats and idea sharing. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and explore how we can work together to celebrate and protect Athlone’s natural heritage.
Light refreshments will be provided.
