HERITAGE WEEK IN KILDOWNET
On Saturday 23rd August, The newly refurbished Ashleam School Water Pump and plaque will be unveiled.
At 18:00pm Achill Men's Shed members, Sean Patten and Michael Joe O' Donnell will unveil the pump and plaque.
Following the unveiling Tomás Mac Sheáin will present a talk on the history of the Ashleam Water Scheme from 1936 - 1990
Refreshments will be served afterwards in Patten's Bar Derreens F28AC91
