Archaeology: A Journey Through Time Unearthing Our Past - A Talk for Children

This Heritage Week talk will look at archaeology through time and space to see how our past is unearthed.

What is archaeology? How are archaeological sites discovered? What is the science of how sites are dated?

We will present images of some of the many archaeological sited discovered in Mayo. In addition, we will have a samples of artefacts from Mayo for you to see on the day.

This talk is suitable for children aged 10-14.
