Ted is an experienced heritage specialist, and I am a certified arborist with a passion for veteran trees and Irish heritage. Together, we hope to offer you fascinating stories and a unique perspective on both the trees and the landscape that surrounds them.
As part of the tour, Jorrit will climb the Oak. Jorrit is a competitive tree climber and will be representing Ireland at the upcoming competition in Cheltenham. Jorrit will also take a 360° camera into the canopy, allowing you to experience a view that very few people ever get to see. Once safely back on the ground, we'll watch his footage together and explore the tree from an entirely new perspective.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring food and water if you wish. The tour includes a walk over uneven terrain, so please bear this in mind when deciding whether to attend.
