A Sense of Place: Artist Talk and gallery conversation with Liz Johnson

Explore landscape, memory and place with artist Liz Johnson through the paintings in her current exhibition A Sense of Place.

This presentation includes slides of relevant landscapes, reference material, sketchbooks, studio shots and selected paintings to provide insight into the development of the work and the artist's working processes.

During the talk, the artist will reflect on our relationships with the landscape, place and memory, and how familiar places become part of our personal and cultural heritage – while linking directly to the themes explored in the exhibition and her wider artistic practice.
