Join us at the SOLAS Visitor Centre on Friday, August 23rd at 7pm for an evening of insight and reflection as Thomas Bawn Reilly shares the rich history and heritage of the Inishkea Islands.

A descendant of an island family and a passionate historian, Thomas brings a deeply personal connection to the stories of the Inishkea community. His talk will draw from his acclaimed book Amongst Our Own, offering rare insights into daily life, traditions, and the enduring spirit of a people shaped by the sea.

This is a unique opportunity to hear first-hand accounts, explore the cultural legacy of the islands, and learn about a way of life that, while vanished, continues to resonate today.
