Join the volunteer members of Inagh Village Tidy Towns Committee, and Ruairí Ó Conchúir, from the Local Authority Waters Programme to celebrate life on the Inagh River. This family friendly event, which will be suitable for children of all ages, will explore the multiple life forms in, and along the, Inagh River, in the village of Inagh.
The Inagh River rises on the side of Slieve Callan and flows through the village of Inagh before entering the sea between Lahinch and Liscannor. "A Celebration of Life on the Inagh River" will explore the various species, from fish, invertebrates, birds, butterflies, and mammals, that live in, and along the Inagh River. Explore the rich and biodiverse habitats along the river in Inagh Village.
The event will also act as a reminder of the interdependence of people, place and nature, especially along river corridors, in a time of climate crisis and a significant decline in biodiversity.
Free Family Event - All Welcome.
