Whale Watch Ireland 2019

Whale Watch Ireland 2019

24 August, 2pm - 5pm

  • Irish Whale and Dolphin Group
  • Bloody Bridge, meeting at car park
  • Co. Down

The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group invites you to their annual, free and guided land-based whale watch at a local headland, as part of All-Ireland Whale Watch Day on Saturday, 24th August 2019.

While there are no guarantees of sightings, given reasonable weather you have a good chance of seeing some of the marine species that can be viewed locally. You should dress appropriately for the weather and conditions on the day and leave your pets at home. There are no boats involved, as all watches are from land. There may be a short elevated walk from the meeting point to your watch site. We recommend you bring binoculars, your sense of humour and refreshments for this 3-hour field event.
