Walk in the ancient Valley of the Meadow; visit the Bronze Age village Lisnachiggal; Celtic sweathouses and famine pasturelands. Listen to the legends and lore of Cooley.

The walk to the Meadow Valley is a hidden historical and archaeological experience. Led by Venora, a local hillwalker and storyteller, you will enjoy wonderful scenery and natural evidence of life from the Bronze Age to contemporary times. Car sharing at the Lumpers to start of walk. Raingear and stout shoes strongly advised. Mountain terrain, initial steep climb and boggy patches. No dogs.
