Learn about Sigginstown Castle and the Siggins, Jacob, and Wilson families who occupied it. We will tour the different buildings, and explain the history and plans for the future.
Sigginstown Castle is a privately owned ruin on the Norman Way which is being renovated for habitation once again. Recent archaeology and research indicate the area has been inhabited since the 14th century, when the Siggins are first documented. Our tour will cover the story of the families, buildings and our plans for the future! Grounds are relatively flat but care should be taken, and we will ask you to sign a short safety waiver. Primitive facilities. We would love to meet you!
