Guided walks of the historical village of Fahan will take place on the days stated. On Wednesday there will be a talk by the local heritage group, outlining the history, work done and future plans.
Fahan walks will take in Saint Mura's Cross, Agnes Jones' grave, the graveyard, the home of Frances Alexander, hymnist. We will then go to the Church of Ireland with a stained glass window by Evie Hone and the memorial to the victims of the Laurentic. We visit St Mura's well and the 17th century Fahan House. On Wednesday at 7.30 pm there will be an illustrated talk on the history of the graveyard and the plans for the development of the site. All takes place in a gentle walk of c 2km.
