This is your chance to learn about habitat mapping and participate in the development of the Douglas Biodiversity Plan. The workshop will be led by Karen Loxton from Wild Work (SECAD).

Douglas Tidy Towns are working with Wild Work, our Local Water Community Office and the Council to develop a Biodiversity Plan for Douglas. Key to this is understanding our local habitats and this can be done via habitat mapping. This will be a hands-on opportunity to learn about habitat mapping and to participate in the development of the Douglas Biodiversity Plan. These workshops have already been undertaken with students from local schools and further school workshops will take place in the Autumn
