Guided Walk with Noel McDonagh on the fascinating archaeological finds on Creadan Head.

A storm in early 2016 stripped sand and sediment from the inter-tidal zone of Fornaght Strand in Waterford Harbour revealing a prehistoric landscape, rich in organic remains, including the archaeological remains of possible wattle structure, a fulacht fia and a shell midden. Local historian Noel McDonagh will discuss his work with Professor Woodman of UCC and exciting new plans for further research and collaborations on the Creadan Head Project.
