Remembering Tallaght Village 1950 - 1970s

Gathering individual audio-visual memoirs from Tallaght natives who were young children living in Tallaght village in 1950 to 1970s.

This will explore and capture memories of their own stories, their families, their daily routines, schooling, rituals, places of interest in Tallaght village, socialising and events during this time when Tallaght was a rural village.

The interviews will be recorded on Saturday 19th of August during Heritage Week. Written memoirs and videos will be produced afterwards to share with the community. They will also help create an accessible social history that we will host on our website.
