Easy Treesie Project - Crann, Trees for Ireland

Open the door to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, marked with a Heritage Tree Promenade on the Prom!

See our Parade of Easy Treesie - Crann Project Trees, part of the UNEP-backed world trillion tree project.

Join us to celebrate the Heritage Trees of Greenore, County Louth. We'll meet up on the Prom beside the Scenic Carlingford Ferry port and set off for a stroll around the village admiring the trees that everyone always remember when they first visit Greenore! We'll stop to take a picture at our Tree No. 170,000, planted on World Environment Day with the members of Greenore Tidy Towns as a climate action to help bring down global temperatures by 1 degree while we get busy decarbonising.

We are Planting-for-the-Planet with the Easy Treesie - Crann Project who are working with the support of the Tree Council of Ireland, Rethink Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Releafing our Island.

Please contact the event organisers (details below) for the latest information regarding COVID-19 safety measures and to register for this event.
