In 2023/2024 Fadó archaeology carried out an audit of the heritage of holy wells in County Roscommon to gather information, promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of this precious part of our heritage.
This story map provides an overview of the heritage of holy wells in the county. It also provides detailed information on each of the 85 wells surveyed.
