Clondorney Lake Family Fun Day (Tulla, Co. Clare)

The Clondorney Lake Family Fun Day will be held on Water Heritage Day, Sunday, 22 August 2021, just outside Tulla, Co. Clare. This co-hosted event with the Local Authority Waters Programme marks the official launch of the wonderful partnership between Tulla Scouts, Tulla Tidy Towns Committee, Clare Walks Ltd and the Tulla and District Angling Club.

It will see the unveiling of the upgraded amenity facilities on Clondorney Lake. The Family Fun Day will include a range of stands including pond dipping demonstrations with Ruairí Ó Conchúir (LAWPRO) a discussion on the importance of the principles of 'Leave No Trace' and a plant identification and foraging display with Tulla Scouts. The family friendly event will also include an introduction to fishing (why try fishing and local fish species and baits) with Tulla and District Angling Club. An opportunity to walk the Cloondoorney Lake loop walk with maps and information on walks locally and in Clare with Clare Walks Ltd.
