Blackfriary Community Heritage Archaeology Project; A virtual update

Laura Corrway
Blackfriary Archaeology Field School

In June 2021, archaeological excavation resumed at the Blackfriary, Trim, County Meath. Students joined the archaeological team for two months and while they were excavating, kept a dig diary on our YouTube Channel as a way to keep members of the public updated on this Community project. Follow our student's experience of joining an archaeological dig and community project in the Medieval Town of Trim. The Blackfriary Community Heritage and Archaeology project is hugely grateful for the support received from Meath County Council, the Heritage Council and the Irish Walled Towns Network since it's beginning.
