A Stitch in Time…..Kilteevan ICA Crafts and Skills Remembered

This digital project highlights the wealth of the Guild members many crafting and culinary skills. It showcases the diverse range of their talent and the items they created. These handcrafted items, then seen as ordinary, would now be classed as bespoke pieces. The finished products adorned and enhanced their homes or were fashion items for personal use.

It is hoped that this project will encourage and inspire the reader to learn some of the crafts showcased helping to keep these skills alive. Also, that it will raise awareness of the need to preserve these crafts for the benefit and enjoyment of new generations.
