Celebrate Heritage Week 2025 with a creative, hands-on workshop exploring Ireland’s rich astronomical legacy at Birr Castle. Led by the Astronomical Observatories of Ireland, each session combines stories of historic discoveries with modern space science, all inspired by the iconic Great Telescope.
Children aged 8–13 will take part in interactive, space-themed arts activities and can bring their creations home after the session.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a Free ticketed event – both adults and children require tickets - see booking link.
Capacity is limited to 30 people per workshop.
Ticket includes general access to the Gardens & Ireland's Historic Science Centre.
