Voyage to Inishtearaght Lighthouse

16 August, 2:30pm - 5:30pm

  • Knightstown, Marina
  • Valentia Island, Kerry
  • Co. Kerry

Set out on a thrilling voyage to the Inishtearaght Lighthouse, the most westerly lighthouse in Europe and one of Ireland’s most remote and dramatic landmarks. Towering above the Atlantic, this iconic light has stood guard since 1870, guiding vessels through one of the wildest stretches of ocean.

Part of the Great Blasket Islands, Inishtearaght is a haven for seabirds, marine life, and untamed beauty. Its steep cliffs and swirling tides make it both haunting and mesmerising. As we cruise around the island, you’ll hear stories of lighthouse keepers who lived in complete isolation, surrounded by crashing waves and endless sea.

With breathtaking views and the chance to spot birds, seals, dolphins, and gannet colonies, this tour offers a rare perspective on a hidden part of Ireland’s heritage. The island’s remoteness has kept it wild, and few ever get the chance to see it up close.

This tour is weather-dependent and suitable only for guests aged 12 and over. Ideal for adventurous spirits looking to explore the raw, untamed edge of the Atlantic.

This tour ventures out into the open Atlantic Ocean and is not suitable for children under the age of 12 or those with restricted mobility or underlying health issues.

Cost €85
