  • Macroom Castle Demesne- Meet at GAA Club Car Park

Join Wild Work to learn about trees and how you can help to record them for our Significant Tree Project. We will learn how to identify some common trees and explore their ecology and lore. A demonstration will be given on how to measure and record trees so that you can contribute to our Significant Tree Project.

This project aims to bring people, science and nature together by encouraging and guiding everyone to spend more time in nature while discovering, recording and helping to save the significant trees within their local community. This event will take place outdoors in the grounds of Macroom Castle Demesne. Meeting place is the GAA club carpark. Google Map Coordinates: 51.904179, -8.961850.
