Tours & Tea at Castlecor House, Co. Longford
Join the owners of Castlecor House for tours and tea during Heritage Open Doors weekend! Castlecor House is a uniquely designed 18th-century octagonal hunting lodge, described as “perhaps the most unusual building” of its era in Ireland.
Its centrepiece is the octagonal Great Hall, featuring a square chimneypiece with four marble fireplaces framed by Corinthian columns and Neo-Egyptian wall art. However, these tours will also include other areas of the house its current owners have meticulously restored since 2009.
PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL PLEASE!
Castlecor House is a proud member of Historic Houses of Ireland and recipient of the HHI-O'Flynn Group Heritage Prize.
