Tours of Frybrook House
Tours of Frybrook House, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, in association with Historic Houses of Ireland
The doors to Frybrook House, Boyle, Co. Roscommon, which lay unoccupied for many years, will open to the public for Heritage Week 2024.
This Georgian House, one of the oldest and finest in Boyle, has many stories to tell of its long history. Built in 1753, Frybrook survived through many historic events such as The Great Irish Famine and the 19th century risings against British Rule, the 1916 Easter Rising, the War of Independence and the Irish Civil War, during which so many Big Houses in Ireland were destroyed. It is now a proud member of Historic Houses of Ireland.
