Tour of the Irish Labour History Society Collections, including Irish Women Workers Union items

The Irish Labour History Society are hosting guided tours of our unique collections with the premises manager Ed Penrose on Tuesday 19th August from 12.30PM to 3.30PM. The Society received a Community Heritage Grant from the Heritage Council in order to conserve and display a unique Irish Women Workers Union banner dating from the early 20th century that is in our collections. The tour will feature a selection of material and unique objects from the Society collections, including banners, posters, uniform, manuscript material, photographs and other miscellaneous material. Some Irish Women Workers Union material will also be on display. All welcome!

All welcome. Please note that the upstairs section of the premises is only accessible via a steep staircase.
