Killineer Woodland Tour & Climate Talk

Killineer House’s owner, Charles Carroll will lead a tour of the woodland area surrounding his gardens and farmland, including the ruined site of the ancient Chapel of Ease to St. Peter’s Church, areas not generally open to the public. He will talk about the trees and wildlife, including the effects of climate change on the property, and the severe damage caused by Storm Eowyn in January this year.

This event is restricted to 25 people so booking is essential. Participants should wear walking boots plus wet gear if appropriate.

The tour starts at 2.30 pm.
