Guided tour of a city centre Dublin Georgian townhouse built in 1774. This is a private family house. Visitors will see the garden, the main reception rooms at first floor level and the family living room, dining room and kitchen at second floor level. The house is recognised for the excellent condition of its original historic interiors, including late Rococo plasterwork in the main rooms.
There will be four tours available each day that the house is open, each lasting 45 minutes, starting on the hour- i.e. 12 midday, 1 pm, 2pm and 3pm. A maximum of 20 persons can be accommodated on each tour. If the numbers exceed 20 people for any particular tour places will be assigned on a first come first served basis for that tour.
General Admission is €7.00, and €3.00 for Students and OAPs. Children up to 12 years are free. All receipts will be donated to the Merchants Quay charity which provides facilities for people suffering from drug addiction and homelessness.
