- Waterford County Museum
- St Augustine Street Dungarvan
- X35 NW63
- Co. Waterford
Construction of Dungarvan Swimming Pool began in 1942 and it was the envy of many towns. For decades it provided a safe space for children and adults to learn to swim, until its closure in the late 1970s. While it no longer survives, it is fondly remembered by many people. This exhibition tells its history in photographs, documents, and artefacts.
The exhibition opens on 19 August and will continue until 30 September
