The Peatlands is an immersive video installation highlighting the biodiversity and wild beauty of the peatlands and wetlands of Ireland. It is a multi-media project narrated through the voice of the natural and built worlds. Stretched across the wall of The Stables surrounded by the special natural environment of Castletown House, Its aim is to reconnect people with nature through awareness building and aid us in gaining new perspectives on landscapes and heritage. Artists include Tina Claffey, Kathrine Geoghegan, Charleen Hurtubise and special workshops developed by Paola Catizone.
