Join Local historian Councillor Seamie Moore on a trip through the magical land of Oldtown Demense created by Thomas Burgh, MP, Engineer and Surveyor General of Ireland, who set out the forest and water gardens at Oldtown in the early 18th century.

This wonderful park is now in the care of KCC Park Department.

Meeting point: Tandys Bridge 15 minutes before the start of the tour time. Please wear suitable woodland clothing and footwear. No dogs & children under twelve years and people with mobility or stamina difficulties due to the terrain.
